Summer Activities

In summer there is plenty to do for the whole family at and around Holiday Club Katinkulta. With an 18-hole golf course, five putting and chipping greens, a driving range and practice bunker for "putting" the finishing touches to your game and, a brand new six-hole golf course opening in summer 2008, this is the ideal destination for all golf lovers. Also on offer are outdoor tennis courts, a bathing beach, playgrounds and skating ramps for the kids. Summer and winter sporting equipment is available for hire from the Katinkulta Kapri My Spa.

At Vuokatti, you can also enjoy hiking and walking amid the area's stunning hill landscapes. Organised and independent fishing trips are also available. Alternatively, you might wish to try your hand at a firm Finnish favourite: berry picking. Local businesses cater for the adventurous, with canoeing trips, white water rafting and fishing and quad bike safaris to choose from. The adjacent riding school and stables offers courses and horseback hiking.
